Hello every one - Chuck L. here. We just moved to White Plains over the winter. Does anyone know if you're allowed to leave large lawn debris such as branches, etc on the curb? Do the garbage collectors take it along with the other trash? Or is there a special day for that? I'm going to go check the city website now but figured I'd ask here first.

They took ours on the regular garbage day which I was pleased about. Now another question - someone told me that the city offers some kind of mulch for free - as long as you can take it away yourself. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it worth it, or better to just stick with a nursery or Home Depot?
