I know its not exactly in White Plains, but close enough I think. Someone told me about a new Turkish restaurant opening up in Hartsdale called Bosphorous. Does anyone know if this place has opened yet? I love our WP Turkish rest. but would be nice to have another option in the area.

Can anyone recommend a good dry cleaner for laundering standard shirts, slacks, etc? Something closest to either the Gedney or Rosedale area would be great. The one we've been using the last few months has just been OK.

I was in the Pavillion shopping center today and noticed that the Educational Warehouse went out of business. So sad - we really loved that store. There's not many places like it - although I guess you can always buy stuff online. Does anyone know what's supposed to come there?

I heard that a Five Guys hamburger place was opening or has opened in White Plains. I haven't tried this place before but people always compare it to In n Out in California. Is this place any good?

I have some friends whose children go to Mount Tom and they love it.

Thanks for starting this up! This is a really great idea. We moved here from Park Slope a few years ago where there was a very active "parents board" and I always wondered why we never had anything like that here.
